Harrison Greene, Jr., is vice president, Surveys and Information Services Division. He has more than two decades of experience in managing and overseeing large-scale data collection projects.

Greene joined Mathematica in May 2009 to oversee operations in the Chicago office. He was previously senior vice president and director of Education and Child Development at the National Opinion Research Center (NORC). In 2006, he established the Joint Center for Education Research, a collaborative effort between NORC and the University of Chicago. He has also been a senior survey director at Abt Associates, Inc.

Some of Greene’s recent major research studies include the Green Jobs and Health Care Impact Study for the U.S. Department of Labor, the Survey of Earned Doctorates for the National Science Foundation, the Gates Millennium Scholars Tracking and Longitudinal Study, and the National Longitudinal Evaluation of Comprehensive School Reform for the U.S. Department of Education. He holds an M.A. and an A.B.D. in sociology from the University of Chicago.
