WHO WE ARE
More than a billion people worldwide live on less than a dollar a day, and they suffer from the stark economic, health, and social consequences of poverty. There is a strong need for evidence-based solutions to improve the lives of people in developing nations living in poverty. Governments, bilateral and multilateral donors, foundations, and nonprofit partners are recognizing this need for evidence-based solutions and calling for help assessing program impacts and measuring results. Mathematica’s Center for International Policy Research and Evaluation (CIPRE) is well positioned to deliver on the research needs in this area by building on our unique ability to combine strong methodological expertise while working collaboratively with local implementing partners and other stakeholders.
