Anne R. GordonAnne Gordon is a senior researcher whose major research interests are in nutrition assistance programs—including their operations, participant characteristics, and outcomes—and in modeling the effects of these programs on dietary, health, and economic outcomes for disadvantaged children and families. She led studies of the impacts of welfare reform and the use of welfare time limits in Virginia.

As a strong writer and reviewer, Gordon has recently been part of a team providing technical assistance to the Regional Education Laboratories for the Institute of Education Sciences. She is also leading a study of methods for cost analysis in educational interventions for the institute.

Gordon co-authored several papers in a supplement to the Journal of the American Dietetic Association on findings from SNDA-III data and has been a frequent presenter at the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management and at Economic Research Service Food and Nutrition Assistance Program research conferences.
