Jeanne Bellotti is a senior researcher with extensive expertise in designing and carrying out evaluations of programs to help a wide range of disadvantaged populations prepare for, find, and retain employment.

Her work includes leadership roles on large-scale implementation, outcomes, cost, and net-impact studies of employment and training programs for the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) of the Department of Labor (DOL). Most recently she directed an evaluation of the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) for DOL funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act as well as an evaluation of an innovative prisoner reentry program involving a combination of customer choice and performance-based contracting.

Bellotti recently made two plenary presentations on preliminary SYEP findings at the Recovering America’s Youth Summits, sponsored by DOL in fall 2009. Other presentations include sessions at the DOL Recovery and Reemployment Research Conference and the annual research conference of the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management. She holds an M.S. in Public Policy from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
