Trenholm Named Associate Director of Health Research at Mathematica PRINCETON, N.J. (August 28, 2007)—Mathematica Policy Research, Inc., recently announced the appointment of Christopher Trenholm, a resident of Princeton, as associate director of health research for the firm's Princeton office. Trenholm, an expert in risk reduction programs for youth, maternal and child health, and health insurance programs, will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and supervising health researchers in the firm's New Jersey office. Trenholm joined Mathematica in 1997 and directed the company's national evaluation of abstinence education programs. He also serves as principal investigator for the evaluations of the Santa Clara County (Ca.) Children's Health Initiative, the Covering Kids & Families program, and the congressionally mandated evaluation of the State Children's Health Insurance Program. His methodological expertise in evaluation design and studies of program effectiveness spans both experimental and nonexperimental methods.
