Schwartz Named Vice President at Mathematica
PRINCETON, N.J. (August 21, 2008)—Mathematica Policy Research, Inc., recently announced the appointment of Lisa Schwartz, a resident of Lambertville, as vice president. She joined Mathematica in 2005 as a senior survey researcher and has been director of Princeton Survey Research since 2007.
An expert in data collection methodologies, particularly for people with disabilities, Schwartz currently co-directs Mathematica's Accelerated Benefits Demonstration project for the Social Security Administration and is senior technical adviser for the Evaluation of the Senior Community Service Employment Program for the U.S. Department of Labor. She has served as a senior methodologist for the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the Physician Voluntary Reporting Program for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Before coming to Mathematica, Schwartz was a senior research scientist at the National Opinion Research Center. She has a Ph.D. in cognitive developmental psychology from the University of Maryland.
