Rathbun Named Associate Director of Health Research Systems

WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 22, 2010)—Mathematica Policy Research recently announced the appointment of senior systems analyst Keith Rathbun, a resident of Olney, Md., as associate director of Health Research systems for the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. In this position, Keith will supervise and mentor the research systems analysts in the Washington, D.C., office of the health division.
Rathbun holds a B.S. in information systems management and a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland. Since arriving at Mathematica in 1994, he has helped develop high quality complex health data systems. His work includes managing and developing a health care database and web-based reporting system for U.S. military families and assisting in the design and development of a database program used to survey recent college graduates. His publications include manuals for a database on women’s health for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Hubble Space Telescope. Prior to joining Mathematica, he served as a programmer/analyst and staff writer with Computer Sciences Corporation, Inc., in Laurel, Md., and a programmer with Special Agents Mutual Benefits Association, Inc., in Rockville, Md.
