Mathematica Names Cody Vice President Contact: Amy Berridge, (609) 945-3378 CAMBRIDGE, MA—July 14, 2011—Mathematica Policy Research recently announced the appointment of Scott Cody as vice president, director of human services research. In this position, he will be responsible for directing all staff and programming activities in support of human services research in Mathematica’s Cambridge office. Cody, who joined Mathematica in 1996, has made significant contributions to projects on food assistance, income support, and education. A national expert in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), he has been at the forefront of Mathematica’s work on the modernization of social services. As the deputy director of the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC), he oversees WWC research synthesis activities and development of WWC reports and products.
