Dynamics of WIC Program Participation by Infants and Children, 2001 to 2003

This report provides information on the participation patterns of infants and children who were enrolled in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) from 2001 through 2003. Several aspects of participation were examined including at what age and under what household circumstances infants and children entered the program, how long they stayed in the program, characteristics of their mothers, and how often infants and children re-entered the program.
