Mathematica Hosts Open House in New Seattle Office

May 21, 2018

On Thursday, May 10, Mathematica hosted an open house at our newest office, located in Seattle, Washington. The event was an opportunity for us to celebrate our eighth office and share with the Seattle community how we are using advanced analytics and our subject matter expertise to inform and improve a variety of health, human services, and international policies and programs. President and CEO Paul Decker, Seattle Office Director Jane Fortson, and Mathematica staff from our other offices welcomed guests representing area foundations, state and local agencies, academia, and many others.

The event featured demonstrations of our products and tools related to our work on evaluating educational technology, improving services for children and families, stopping the opioid addiction crisis, and improving outcomes for Medicaid providers and recipients. The event also showcased a gallery of photographs from our projects, including the Parents and Children Together project, the Improve the Education of Girls in Niger program, the Latin America and Caribbean Reading Evaluation, along with a video that recognized lessons in health philanthropy, Day of the Girl Child, and International Literacy Day.

Open house guests were also treated to a taste of Mathematica, as the event offered food representative of the cities where we have office locations.

Mathematica was delighted to have this opportunity to meet leaders from the Seattle area and beyond who share our mission and passion for improving public well-being.
