About Jennifer

Jennifer McNulty specializes in designing, planning, and implementing information systems for health and education projects.

McNulty leads the design and development of a dashboard system to facilitate training, peer-to-peer learning, and monitoring for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) for the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation. The project aims to help Medicare ACOs achieve better care for patients, better health for populations, and lower health care costs. Her education project work includes leading the information systems component of a multiyear longitudinal study for the U.S. Department of Education to examine transitions of middle and high school students with and without disabilities from school into adult life, college, and the workforce. She has also planned and implemented programming for data collection on studies of the Harlem Children’s Zone, First 5 LA and the Los Angeles Universal Preschool, and Early Head Start.

Before joining Mathematica, McNulty held positions at the Response Analysis Corporation. She presents her work at professional conferences and meetings such as the annual Federal Computer Assisted Survey Information Collection Workshops. She has a B.S. in business administration and marketing management from the University of Delaware.

    Early Head Start Research and Evaluation

    The program promotes learning and the parenting that supports it within the first three years of life. Participating children performed significantly better in cognitive, language, and social-emotional development than their peers who did not participate.

  • Universal Preschool Child Outcomes Study (UPCOS)

    The Los Angeles Universal Preschool (LAUP) was created to increase the number of preschool slots available in the most underserved Los Angeles' communities. Since 2007, Mathematica has conducted this study to provide descriptive information about the diverse population LAUP serves.
