This report looks at short-term outcomes for people in the Money Follows the Person (MFP) demonstration. It found nursing home residents who had low care needs and transitioned to community living, through MFP or by other means, were slightly more likely to remain in the community and avoid reinstitutionalization than those with higher care needs.
